Martino is passionate about building bridges between Europe and Africa. He believes that the next generation of African entrepreneurs will come out within the intersection of higher education, technology and cultural renaissance.
Martino received his M.A. in African Studies at Università degli Studi di Pavia and a B.A. in International Relations at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. He spent one year in Nairobi as a Program Offer with IPSIA, an Italian NGO, where he contributed at the start-up of Run2gether, a social-oriented élite athletics team that he successfully led to major sport victories in Italy.
After an experience in Accenture Management Consulting, Martino started collaborating in the E4impact initiative in 2013 in ALTIS – Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan and in 2015 become Business Development Manager of E4Impact Foundation. His responsibilities covers today also Ethiopia, the Alumni network and Marketing of all MBA programs.
Martino is a blogger with Vadoinafrica, contributing to change the perception of Africa in Italy. A native Italian raised in Milano, he speaks English, French, Kiswahili and Wolof (the last two still basic level, but he is very determined to improve!).
