The second edition of the E4impact MBA in Accra (Ghana) started on September 27th, in partnership with the Catholic Institute of Business and Technology (CIBT).

The MBA began with the Initial Boot Camp, 8 days of intensive training, in which the 35 students enrolled this year attended the courses of Business Model Design e Basic Accounting, and listened to guest speakers from the entrepreneurial world. Among the speakers: Stephen Eku, founder of Emigoh (freshly-prepared yogurt company, and a marketleader in Ghana) and actual student of the first edition of the MBA in Ghana; Mabel Simpson, young Ghanaian entrepreneur, founder of mSimps (fashion accessory company); Tonyi Senayah, Ghanaian entrepreneur, founder of Horseman Shoes (footwear manufacturing company, official supplier of the President of Ghana) and William des Bordes, CEO and founder of Weston Group (Ghanaian holding company with businesses in different industries, operating also in Liberia and Nigeria).

During the week, the students were supported by prof. Brad Googins and the Coaches Fabio Petroni (E4impact General Manager) and Andrews Ayiku (MBA Business Coach) in developing a real business model. At the end of the Boot Camp, during the Business Model Canvas Competition, each student presented his/her business model in front of a panel of investors. This event was extremely useful for participants. They were able to receive significant feedback from investors to improve their business models and became part of a lively entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The winner of the Business Model Canvas Competition was Edem Yeutsey, “Green Earth” entrepreneur, a company that produces organic personal products. Congratulation from all E4impact team to this promising entrepreneur!
