About

E4Impact Foundation supports the start-up and growth of new businesses in Africa through MBAs, Entrepreneurship programs, business accelerators and economic development projects. It was launched in 2010 as initiative of ALTIS – Graduate School of Business and Society of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. In 2015 it became a Foundation with the support of Associazione GenesiMapeiWebuild, the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and Always Africa Association. Later, EniIntesa Sanpaolo, Carvico, Montello, Confapi, Coldiretti and Filiera Italia, joined E4Impact as Corporate Participants and Diana Bracco, Michele Carpinelli e Mario Carlo Ferrario as Individual Participants.

The work of the Foundation contributes to the accomplishment of many of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Goals:

The Global MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship and the Short Programs in Impact entrepreneurship are entrepreneurship programs offered in collaboration with Università Cattolica and a local university from the host country. These programs guide active and aspiring entrepreneurs to start or scale their businesses, providing them simultaneously with an academic and business acceleration experience.

The Entrepreneurship Centers provide new businesses with training, links with local investors, connections with international companies, seed funding, ICT and satellite communication services and office space.

The Foundation also supports the expansion of European SMEs in Africa. By matching them with reliable local entrepreneurs, E4Impact offers small businesses a low cost, low-risk opportunity to enter the African countries where the MBA is offered.

Finally, E4Impact takes part in multilateral projects, working with international partners to design and implement customized training and consulting programs for different actors.

Through its programs and projects, E4Impact has trained over 2,000 entrepreneurs and over 40,000 small-scale farmers.

The Foundation is open to involve new Corporate and Individual Participants interested in taking an active role in perceiving the mission of the institution in the African scenario.
