On October the 5th 2023, E4Impact, together with Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and the E4Impact University Alliance were recognized the Excellence in Practice (EiP) Silver Award, sponsored by EFMD Global, the accreditation body for business school programmes and corporate universities.

Another honorable recognition in the E4Impact portfolio, after the Triple E Awards received last year thanks to the innovative model of the Global MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship. In particular, the EiP Awards recognises global clients and suppliers partnerships, which have a real impact in the domains of Leadership, Professional, Talent and Organizational Development.

E4Impact and its partners stand out in the category of Ecosystem Development and earned the prize thanks to their commitment in creating job places in Africa and fostering entrepreneurial development in 20 African countries, through their MBA.

The Award Ceremony was held in St. Gallen (Switzerland), after two days of presentations and dialogues among the winners of all the categories. In that occasion our CEO Prof. Mario Molteni and Mrs Alessia Coeli, General Manager of ALTIS – Graduate School of Sustainable Management of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore showed the innovative model of the Global MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship that up to know has trained over 1600 entrepreneurs around Africa.

“E4Impact was established to contribute to the startup and scale up of impact businesses in Africa. From the beginning, the method has been ‘in partnership with’ local universities and this collaboration has allowed us to learn and innovate together, offering a program that responds to the concrete needs of African entrepreneurs” said prof Molteni.

The partnership model turned out to be one of the biggest strengths of E4Impact MBA program, tailored for African entrepreneurs who want to build strong businesses with a high social and environmental impact. The program is for job creators and not for job seekers, indeed it offers academic level business formation directly to small business owners and start-uppers, who apply the notions learned directly to their own company.

“Sharing knowledge and contributing to the development of the African continent is one of the traits that define the mission of the Università Cattolica. We are glad that this effort, carried out with the support of E4Impact and many African partner universities, has received this important recognition.”” said prof Franco Anelli, Rector of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

While, as one of the representative of the E4Impact Alliance, prof Prof. Patrick Edrin Kyamanywa, Vice Chancellor of Uganda Martyrs University, added “Speaking on behalf of the other members of the E4Impact African University Alliance, we are honored to receive this award. It reflects not only the efficacy of our collaboration but also on the achievements and impact of the many African entrepreneurs trained through the program.”

All in all the Excellence in Practice Awards has been for E4Impact a sign that the work done up to now is bearing fruits and this is recognized not only in Africa and Italy but across the Globe.
