In the context of the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Milan, Mario Molteni, Corporate Strategy Professor at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, is presenting E4impact during the session “Building Cohesive Entrepreneurial Ecosystems for Africa” (Wed. 18th, from 4 to 6 pm).

The Global Entrepreneurship Congress is the premier inter-disciplinary gathering of startup champions from around the world. In our session, African and international speakers will provide a range of solutions to bring Africa’s entrepreneurial ecosystems together into a cohesive whole that is able to better support the entrepreneur.

E4impact is the initiative of ALTIS Graduate School Business and Society at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Italy), aimed at training impact entrepreneurs and at building a large entrepreneurial ecosystem dedicated to furthering impact entrepreneurship.

The heart of E4impact is the Global MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship, a 12-month Executive MBA offered locally in partnership with universities in emerging markets. The program provides would-be, early stage and high growth impact entrepreneurs with results-oriented education and interaction with the local business community and potential investors. MBA participants acquire knowledge and skills useful for starting or scaling a business and for contributing to the sustainable development of their countries.

ALTIS is currently offering the E4impact MBA in Kenya (4th edition) and Ghana (2nd edition). The 1st edition in Sierra Leone will start as soon as the recent Ebola outbreak is under control. In addition, ALTIS is establishing partnerships with several Universities across Africa. The ultimate goal is to create a pan-African alliance able to support best practices sharing, peer to peer learning, ventures scaling and multinational partnerships.

E4impact also supports the expansion of SMEs into fast growing markets. By matching them with reliable local entrepreneurs, the E4impact Business Scaling Lab offers small businesses a low cost, low risk opportunity to enter the fast growing countries where the MBA is offered.
