Major Achievements
- Have organized women into 3 food cooperatives, 5 associations, and 16 self-help groups, creating a strong foundation for collective growth and empowerment.
- Since 2014, their network has supported 1,527 grassroots women by empowering them through entrepreneurship to alleviate poverty and reduce financial dependency.
- Introduced various financial structures to encourage savings and enhance financial security,such as the TSN Women’s Trust Fund, a financial cooperative, and the Tabwand Plan, a business support scheme.
- Since 2020, they have held 25 workshops to equip women with essential skills in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, digital literacy, leadership, communication, and management.
- Among their partners, UN Women, GIZ, Eco Bank.
- Plus, in collaboration with government ministries like the Ministry of Small and Medium-SizedEnterprises and the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and the Family, they advocate for entrepreneurship as the key solution to poverty alleviation–through annual events such as Women’s Entrepreneurship Day to raise awareness and promote women’s economic empowerment.
