On the 4th May 2016, from 11am to 4pm, E4Impact Foundation and Tangaza University College, in collaboration with the SDG Philanthropy Platform, run the first ever Kenyan Impact Entrepreneurship Showcase at Tangaza University College in Karen (Nairobi).

The event, was graced by the Italian Ambassador to Kenya H.E Mauro Massoni and the E4Impact Foundation president, immediate former mayor of Milan and former Minister for Education, University and Scientific Research Ms. Letizia Moratti amongst other dignitaries, and focused on showcasing 5 years of Impact Entrepreneurship in Nairobi by social entrepreneurs who have been trained by E4Impact Foundation and Tangaza University College.

Within this period, more than 200 lead enterprises such as Mfarm, Lipisha, Corec, Strauss Energy, Toto Health, amongst others, have been born and are setting the pace in innovation, impact and job creation in Kenya.

At the conference there were about 200 people among impact entrepreneurs, members of prestigious Kenyan institutions, exponents from the Kenyan business community and government, all gathered to illustrate the key role that entrepreneurs will play in Kenya’s future.

At the end of the day, some of the E4impact entrepreneurs have been awarded for their contribution to the country’s sustainable economy. Outside the conference room, an ehibition has been set up, where all entrepreneurs had the occasion to showcase their products and business.
